Barrow Safety Services offers various services that include pre-access COVID-19 screenings for several of our locations throughout Alberta and BC.  Providing to our clients and their employees peace of mind, knowing that their work place is fever free. We can help keep you and your employee’s safe while using the stand alone forehead temperature detection device or combined with a Health Technician manually providing temperature readings.

PRT-7MFTD (Forehead Temperature Detection, Facial Recognition Terminal)

For use in railway stations, subway stations, airports, hospitals, factories, Oil and Gas sites, Mining sites, Forestry sites, and other public places with a large floating population.

This is a stand-alone system in that there is no requirement for a network connection.

The camera may be connected to a network for the purpose of programming the various features or management of images taken by the camera.

Is designed for indoor use where there is a consistent ambient temperature in the range of 16 - 32°C to facilitate accurate temperature readings.

Outdoor use is possible providing that the camera is placed in a shaded, protected area such as a field tent. 

The requirement for an ambient temperature in the range of 16-32°C still applies.

For those with privacy concerns, be aware that these systems have only one purpose, to automatically focus on an individual’s face to trigger an alarm when a forehead temperature is above 37.3°C.
