*All First Aid Courses Require a Minimum Registration of Five (5) Students to be Confirmed.*
Falls from heights, even relatively low elevations, can result in serious injuries. The proper use of fall protection equipment — in addition to planning, supervision, and training — can reduce or eliminate the risk of falling. The OH&S requires workers to use fall protection systems when they could fall from a height of 3 m (10 ft.) or more, or where a fall from a lesser height could result in serious injury.
Any person operating an aerial lift or aerial work platform is required to be trained on the safe use of the equipment as well as any associated hazards. This course covers topics such as: The division of responsibilities, personal protective equipment, fall protection considerations, the different types of aerial lifts, operating procedures, associated hazards, and safe work practices. *Must have Fall Arrest before taking Aerial Work*
Confined spaces in the workplace pose a significant risk of injury and death. Hazards in confined spaces can result in fire, explosion, unconsciousness, asphyxiation, or drowning. Confined space incidents can happen suddenly, often without any warning that something is wrong. Employers must take the necessary steps to ensure worker safety around confined spaces.
There is an administration fee to replace any tickets that may be misplaced. Any tickets issued by Red Cross, Enform, or St.John Ambulance must be re-issued through them.
